[vps-mail] odd font in majordomo lists

I have a client with a few majordomo lists.  It is quite common for the 
subscribers to make posts in HTML format.  However, there has been a 
distrubing trend of posts being sent out like below.  In this particular 
case, the subscriber insists that the message was sent in 10 pt. Arial 
from Outlook.  I don't understand why a post sent in a "basic" font 
would give majordomo problems.  Has anyone else had these types of 
issues?  Is there anything that I can do about it?
