workaround is to add the following extra flag to the SA in the
.procmailrc files that need to read .spamassassin/user_prefs:

    |/usr/local/bin/spamc -U /var/run/spamd.sock -u <username>

(replace <username> with the real username).


To confirm - if I have a user Joe then I need to make a change in

/usr/home/joe/.procmailrc

to say

|/usr/local/bin/spamc -U /var/run/spamd.sock -u joe

Correct?
