The original poster (sorry, don't remember who it was) followed up with 
a correction to a typographical error in the recipe.  I believe the 
erroneous last line:

:/usr/sbin/sendmail

is supposed to start with a pipe instead of a colon:

|/usr/sbin/sendmail

That's probably the correction you needed.  I'm pretty sure the change 
you made (removing the colon after the zero) is not what you wanted.
