Re: [vps-mail] Dramatic increase of SPAM during last days

At 2:04 PM -0700 5/27/04, Abigail Marshall said something about:
Here is the specification for the two RBL's I use; of course
the lines should not wrap:

FEATURE(`dnsbl', `sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org', `"Refused, Sender
on Spamhaus Combined Block List see:
http://www.abuse.net/sbl.phtml?IP="$&{client_addr} See
http://nospam.mydomain.com/')dnl

FYI, the lookup function for spamhaus has changed - if you're using the combined database, doing a lookup at the abuse.net URL you give there will not give a positive for the XBL list, which may confuse some users. try this instead:

FEATURE(`dnsbl', `sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org', `"Refused, Sender on Spamhaus Combined Block List see: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip="$&{client_addr} See
http://www.mydomain.com/nospam.html')dnl

which does a lookup for both databases.

Thanks again for sharing your recipies, Abigial !

Matt
