Matt, before you install majordomo, have you considered Dada
Mail?

I ask because I found the Dada installation very easy on a
VPS2, and I am much happier with it than majordomo. I can't
think of anything that majordomo does that Dada can't do
better, unless you really are in love with the ability to
manage the list via obscure email commands.

I just would be very reluctant to use majordomo for
anything these days, not because it might be hard to install
on a VPS2, but because I view it as an obsolete program with
a myriad of potential security holes.
