Hehe... yes. The 'vinstall' is a bit out of date. You can install SA
from CPAN, which will overwrite the old version completely:
perl -MCPAN -e 'install Mail::SpamAssassin'
You may have to answer some questions if you've never used CPAN
before; just accept the defaults until you get to the part where you
choose your mirrors. Choose the closest viaverio mirror--mirrors 3 and
4 on the list usually--depending on your datacenter. You can find your
datacenter by typing 'sinfo' at the shell prompt; servers in the
Virginia datacenter begin with 'va', servers in the San Jose
datacenter begin with 'sj'.
The 'vinstall' is still useful to some people who are unfamiliar with
procmail/SA generally since it automatically generates procmail
recipes, etc. for filtering mail through SA.
