[vps-mail] installing spamassassin on VPS2

Hello VPS Mailers,

I just got a VPS2 account and I'm setting it up with procmail and 
spamassassin and basically everything that I write about on my 
Procmail Quick Start, which is here:

I was following the instructions here:

<http://www.viaverio.com/support/virtual/email/spam/spamassassin/index.cfm>

And to my dismay got this:

 You have installed Spam Assassin 2.43.

I then did this:

 # vuninstall spamassassin
 Uninstallation module for 'spamassassin' does not exist or is not a valid program.

So I have some questions/comments:

1] Should I have updated my ports collection first? If so, how do I do that?

2] What's the best way to uninstall SA 2.43?

3] What's the best way to install the latest released SA (2.63)

4] Please update the viaverio doc so that it talks about these issues!


I'm very new to system administration but I have a lot of experience as
a *user* of procmail and spamassassin.
