Re: [vps-mail] Mail Handling, VPS2 and Vinstalls
Greetings Abigail
We love the VPS 2 line.
We have VPS 2 servers running sendmail and qmail (not at the same time
<g>); we prefer qmail (and we build it from scratch vs. vinstall).
We have ClamAV running on two separate VPS 2 servers (one with sendmail,
and one with qmail). The sendmail one uses procmail, and the qmail server
uses qmail-scanner.
I've not been able to get SpamAssassin working correctly on the qmail
server; yes, you can force install it from CPAN, but qmail-scanner will not
recognize it because the tests for the spam headers fail.
Thank you.

I want to move handling of all incoming email to a VPS
dedicated for processing mail only.
I am thinking of getting a VPS2 Standard for this purpose.
My concern is whether the VPS-2s currently have vinstalls
for the services I want.
I want to be able to use:
The latest Spamassassin (SA 2.63)
Clam AV
I also want to know if there are any issues with Sendmail
configuration or mail handling that are significantly
different from the VPS1 that I need to be concerned about.
