I think it's easier for blacklisting to simply use the Sendmail access file - that will block the email completely, rather than processing it. But that's the point of a blacklist, right?
Hi Abigail,The point would be to be able to use regex and other tricks procmail allows, using the macros TO for example. AFAIK etc/access mechanism would only allow blocking a From:distinct.example.com or example.com (in Received headers.) Also no subject or other headers can be blocked.
At the moment I've got dozens of recipes our mail passes thru (after access and blocklists) which may be why I get very few spams. That and keeping my real email a carefully guarded secret!
