Hello all,
We believe we have figured this out. Our client's old hosting company
has their usernames listed as username@xxxxxxxxxx which when they pop
they are sending their username as "username@xxxxxxxxxx". This is
causing the error.
Since this client has many computers is there any way we can update
the server to accept "username@xxxxxxxxxx" and retrieve the e-mail for
username?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Mike

the UW pop/impa daemon is not know for being friendly to custom
configuration. It's just a plug and use mainly. For special thing i
install cyrus that work well but is a lot harder to configure right. I
think you are out of luck. All that can save you seems to be in the pam
/etc/pam.conf. perhaps there exist a module that can strip the domain
but nothing is farther from sure.

ghislain.
