Sorry I cross posted this to the VPS2 list without realizing it.
Master gets a copy of several of the email accounts.
User Virtmap Alias
xbob bob@xxxxxxxxxx => xbob
xmaster master@xxxxxxxxxx => xmaster
xuser user@xxxxxxxxxx => yuser yuser => xuser, xmaster
xmary mary@xxxxxxxxxx => ymary ymary => xmary, xmaster
xmark mark@xxxxxxxxxx => ymary ymark => xmark, xmaster
xtom tom@xxxxxxxxxx => ytom ytom => xtom, xmaster
We do it this way because the master account is a record of all email sent
to these users, and this organization wants to have a copy of all of this
mail available on one account.
I am in the habit of putting the x, which equals some part of the domain, so
that I know which account uses that email address and so that I can have
bob@ and bob@ on two different domains on the server, which is the point of
Virtual Maps, correct?
I am open to changing the way this is setup, but it works without issue
until mark@xxxxxxxxxx wants to login to iManager with his email address
instead of his username.
This is really required if iManager is really going to a Webmail program.
After all of the time spent on the Mail Manager interface I am sure they
expect that it is tool for email. Especially when users want to check their
own Spam folder.
Again in the scenario above the first guy, bob@xxxxxxxxxx, and log into
iManager just fine with his email address and use Mail Manager to send and
receive email.
user@xxxxxxxxxx, mary@xxxxxxxxxx, mark@xxxxxxxxxx and tom@xxxxxxxxxx cannot
login to iManager with the email address at all.

The problem is that user@xxxxxxxxxx in this case cannot
login to iManager with that email address and xuser's password.
What if you create a real mailbox for "user" and forward the mail
for "master" to it?
