The only data anyone needs is to run clamav for a week or so as
your primary antivirus filter (i.e., ahead of any other AV
or procmail filtering you do), and then check your logs.
So I do think that article is way off base -- there is no
100% reliable mechanism, but I know that my clamav logs show
that it's catching plenty.
