[vps-mail] Suggestions for spam on VPS2
- Subject: [vps-mail] Suggestions for spam on VPS2

Background:
- I have a shared VPS2 server.
- Currently I'm getting over 2,000 spams per day.
- I have procmail rules and Spam Assassin (set at 4.4) filtering.
- I have over 1500 blackmail listings in procmail.
- I tried unsuccessfully to get the Bayes filters working on my VPS2.
Issue:
- With the procmail/SA I still get 200+ spams each day that are not
filtered.
- I have to spend too much time daily adding new rules to procmail for
obvious spams that I'm sure there must be more effective ways to block.
Questions:
- Are there other filtering techniques that can be
successfully installed (easily) on a shared VPS2?
- Someone mentioned using DNSBL in sendmail.mc to
curb the tide. Where do I get more info on that?
- Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim Smith
