Re: [vps-mail] savelogs question

Scott,

I tried to install savelogs but although it *says* it completes, it actually doesn't:

~~~~~
vinstall savelogs
installing savelogs
unlimited
If vcpan crashes, run vcpan again with the -r option to restore your
original Perl Config.pm.
Going to read /usr/home/javawoma/.cpan/sources/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
Going to read /usr/home/javawoma/.cpan/sources/modules/02packages.details.txt.gz
CPAN: HTTP::Date loaded ok
  There's a new CPAN.pm version (v1.76) available!
  [Current version is v1.59_54]
  You might want to try
    install Bundle::CPAN
    reload cpan
  without quitting the current session. It should be a seamless upgrade
  while we are running...
savelogs 1.66 installation is now complete.
~~~~~

Note the line "Out of memory!" just before the ### box - I guess this is the problem.

When I try savelogs --help I get:

~~~~~
savelogs: Command not found.
~~~~~

- the vinstall process does seem to have created a .cpan directory in my home directory. The three .gz files referred to (Going to read...) exist.
- server seems to be a (resold) VPS B account

Any suggestions on how to get installation to complete?
