Ok,
so the directory atleast has the right permissions.
but the problem is also when I try to open the sendmail.cf file in
/skel/etc/mail/
cannot open it and get an error message:
An error occurred. Please contact support.
VSAP Parse error: [Could not parse the VSAP Response: Empty String at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/ControlPanel/MetaProc.pm line 182 ]
BTW the sendmail.cf in /skel/etc/mail/ has the right permissions
of -r--r--r-- root wheel
thanks so long.
regards
mike
