Re: [vps-mail] Question about Sendmail/Spammers

Sorry, Wilson, it's just the word "spam" causes a red mist to descend over my eyes and my skin turns green and later I wake up in some dark alleyway.....

We're drifing off topic here, but I have to say, IMO the people making
big money are mostly not the actual spammers but those selling the
addresses and the tools. There are a handful of operators that are
"crazy like a fox", very clever in avoiding the pitfalls, but most
spam activity is clueless trailer-trash trying to make a living and
there are few "decisions" made about the quality of addresses. IOW, no
one looks at the CD and says, "hmmmm, all these webmasters and
postmasters aren't gonna be thrilled..."

My statement about auto-reporting was misleading, for postmaster spam
I do not auto report it except I "automatically report it manually". I
do auto-report all mail received on addresses that have never been
used and old domain reg addresses.

Anyway, yep big waste of our time!
