In the email headers, yes, it would show up as "for
sales@[your.ipaddress.here]", but I'm pretty sure they can spoof the
To: sales@xxxxxxxxxxxx .
Have you looked at the long headers and followed the path back to the
originating server?
If you don't see the domain literal [with your ip address] in the
Return-Path, then I guess Ghislain is correct and they are using old MX
records.
