I think we can all agree that the info being added is interesting. One
should remember the difference between an "intruder" talking to the
server on a port and getting a 401 "you are not authorized" and
talking on a port to a lower layer that says "server not responding".
The latter is what we'd like to see in the ssh dictionary attacks.
The fact that they can't log in as root doesn't stop repeated attempts
nor does it stop dictionary attacks.
Is no one else on the list seeing these attempts frequently on VPS2?
