You don't send it to /dev/null, you have it rejected outright.
Just add this to your /etc/mail/virtusertable and then run "make" in
/etc/mail:
@yourdomain.tld some_account_which_does_not_exist
(this assumes that all accounts which *do* exist are properly declared in
the same file)
