[vps-mail] User Specific Spamd Spamc VPS2

Hi all.
I am ordering a new VPS2 and having failed to get user specific spamd
working on VPS1 (because apparently it is not possible according to
Verio support) I am curious what the consensus is for VPS2.
A) does it work fine (I think the last weeks threads refer to folk
running spamd/c but perhaps you can confirm with user prefs etc.)?

Thanks to the recent threads I will be using the user specific Bayes -
sounds great, and Abigail I always look forward to your responses.
Thankyou; I'm learning fast.
Any advice for a kinda newbie would be much appreciated ref. install and
user specifics (and threads I should seek out?)would be very welcome.
(Below is my last spamd command before being told I was wasting my time
(and the whole week pulling my hair out!!)

I have also had problems with running spamd with virtual config. I am
fairly new to Spamassassin, and my attempts were on Server A not VPS2.
Verio support then told me it [virtualconfig] does not work on Server A
with spamd. However, I am about to upgrade to VPS2. My question is does
anyone have spamd running on VPS2 with user prefs (or rather virtual
config?)?

FYI my last test start Command was:
virtual /usr/local/bin/spamd -d -p 1783 -A <ipaddresswashere> -x
--user-config --virtual-config-dir=/usr/local/etc/spamassassin_user/%d
Did I get that bit right?
