[vps-mail] Clamav on VPS1

I just installed spamassassin 2.63 on my VPS1 updating a previous
installation. I would now like to install clamav.

However, as there is not a vinstall for Clamav on the VPS1 what is the best
way to proceed?

Would the instructions found in this tutorial be safe to follow on a VPS1?
