And you won't for a while. SA doesn't really kick in until several
hundred messages have been processed, preferably thousands.

To SA, there isn't a difference. Baysian filters are used to help
score the message.

Not that I know of. It just starts working after a while.

Start with 'man sa-learn'. It will tell you to divide your mail into
two bodies ("corpuses", I think, or maybe corpora. My latin is rusty.)
One you run through sa-learn --ham (be sure to use 'virtual' if this
is a VPS 1), the other through sa-learn --spam. Once trained, you'll
have an ever growing set of files in
~/usr/home/jimsmith/.spamassassin; don't delete these or you'll haves
to retrain.
