These will need to be matched explicitly:

You can use the same technique as before (previous email) for scoring.
At some point, those 8-bit umlaut characters turned into question marks,
but it made me take another look at the spam I got this morning (one of
many of this kind.)
It specifically has "charset=us-ascii" in the header AND the 8 bit
characters. Normal French mail would have an encoded ISO= subject if it
used those characters. As a result I'm also evaluating a recipe that
checks for 8 bit chars and the us-ascii in the header and quarantines
these. We'll see what that leads to.
I am spoiled by the fact that I receive about 4 spams a week out of the
many thousands of messages I would receive without "precautions" like
blocklists, procmail and spamassassin. The downside is a lot of time
spent playing with new recipes every few months as new tricks come out.
