Sendmail on all VPSes was patched and updated on Thursday or Friday. It 
isn't at 8.12.10 (yet), but the version has been patched to prevent the 
recently announced exploit.

On VPS1, the following command will display the sendmail version number 
(8.12.9p1):

% virtual sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null

On VPS2, omit "virtual"

(On VPS2, sendmail is at version 8.12.6p3; the "p3" indicates that three 
exploits have now been patched (since the release of 8.12.6).)
