Re: FW: [vps-mail] Possible FormMail Issue

Colin, its really hard to debug without having access to the server. Did you
ever figure out how to check your own error logs?

I'm wondering how someone who is relatively inexperienced with CGI and form
installation ends up with sites hosted on a VPS1 platform, given the fact
that the server must have been put into service so many years ago. Did you
take over management of this account from someone else? I think part of
your problem is that Verio has not provisioned VPS1's in a very long time --
probably at least a decade -- so most of us on the list no longer are
running sites on those platforms. There are changes in basis directory
structure and path designation that make it hard to remember (or guess)
where your system might be going awry.

One more thing, however -- I notice that you wrote that the script alias
points to /usr/local/etc/httpd/fhm-cgi-bin/ ---
but you also said that this was the 2nd web site on the same server with the
issue.

As I recall, on a VPS1 server, the main site on the server was hosted in a
directory called "htdocs" directory, but all other subhosted sites were in a
directory called "vhosts" -- so I'm wondering if the path you specified in
the the alias is correct for the site you are working on.
