[vps-mail] Mailman still viable in days of spam-blockers?

I've got a small, 100 person mailman list that I use for a personal 
group of friends.  I just noticed today that none of my yahoo users 
are getting email becuase yahoo is blocking them with a 'Deferred: 
421 Too many recipients' error.

Is there any way to get mailman to spread these deliveries out so my 
yahoo members can get their email or do I need to switch to another 
program?  And if so, are there any recommendations?

I have lots of clients on mailman, including an 8,000 member list for 
one client, and i'm now worried that none of his yahoo users have 
gotten his emails...
