Disclaimer: I haven't tested the following approaches.

Qmail includes a utility called maildir2mbox that moves messages from maildir folders (qmail's format) to mbox files (sendmail's format).

Here is the concise (terse?) man page for maildir2mbox :

Here is a brief review by a user of the utility:

A note from one user of maildir2mbox:
"The previous solution I posted works with two bugs....if you have spaces in any of your Maildir folder names, you need to edit the .mailboxlist file afterwards to fix it. And the conversion removed the "Read" flag on all the emails in all my folders."

Because mbox files don't support the notion of subfolders, you might have trouble converting maildirs with subfolders, especially if your maildir folder contains a combination of messages and subfolders.

Another option: You could use an IMAP client, set up an IMAP account for each server, and copy messages from one to the other. Disadvantages of this approach: You have to create the destination folders and copy each folder's contents individually, and the "received" date might get changed to the date of the copy ("sent" date should remain unchanged).
