my "solution" is:
limit the maxclientsetting
send all email on the queue of sendmail
as soon as it receive the email in the queue the next queue runner start
sending the emails but it open only maxclient process so it does not
overcome the server. So the number of process running is limited by
maxclient so this is the auto throttle method i will use if i dare push
the send button (as you see it will be quite a large mail pool and space
for the mailer daemon and bounces and tempfail shoudl be quite big too!!).
