In effect I had spamassasin and clamav installed, and since they use
procmail to be called, procmail definitely was running.

And it has stopped filling its log file the moment greylist-milter was
installed.

Is not the case for me... and I think I know why
When I installed greylist-milter following the instructions posted in
an earlier email to this list, it got me to recreate the sendmail.cf
file. and I suppose there it was all reset to default....

So let's re-install procmail.
