In effect I had spamassasin and clamav installed, and since they use
procmail to be called, procmail definitely was running.
And it has stopped filling its log file the moment greylist-milter was
installed.
BUT I see
BL> For server-wide procmail processing check your sendmail.cf by issuing

BL> # grep '^Mlocal.*procmail' /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
BL> If the output is something like:

BL> S=EnvFromL/HdrFromL, R=EnvToL/HdrToL,

BL> then sendmail is using procmail as the LDA (local delivery agent).
Is not the case for me... and I think I know why
When I installed greylist-milter following the instructions posted in
an earlier email to this list, it got me to recreate the sendmail.cf
file. and I suppose there it was all reset to default....
So let's re-install procmail.
Thanks for the pointers,
tim.
