RE: [vps-mail] Dramatic increase of SPAM during last days

I meant dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net. Would that now allow me to send mail from my
Comcast ISP?

No, you add this to your sendmail.mc file, which is in your
~/usr/local/sendmail/cf/cf directory.

You then build a new sendmail.cf file from it which you place in your ~/etc
directory.

However, if I may, I'd make a suggestion about the DNSBLs you're planning on
using.

Open relays are no longer anything like the problem they used to be. The
biggest problem nowadays is people on dialup and cable/DSL connections who
have become "trojanised" and are acting as open proxies. For this reason,
I'd drop list.dsbl.org and relays.ordb.org and use these RBLs instead:

First of all, I'd replace sbl.spamhaus.org with sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org because
it also contains a list of known, exploited machines (xbl.spamhaus.org), and
opm.blitzed.org (a list of open proxies).

Then I'd add dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net, which is a list of dynamic IP addresses
(i.e. home users on dialup, cable or DSL) which should be sending mail
through their ISP's SMTP service instead of direct-to-MX.
