i don't think as apache runs in the virtual space (probably jailed to it) so squirrel should write to the good directory. Checking that the user has free space (vlistuser <myuser> ) is a good start and also i heard that you need ftp rights for imap accounts but i havent checked this last thing (you need to be able to write files on the disk, i don't know if this apply also for webmail imap client ).For example, passwd lists my home dir as /usr/home/lang. Since SquirrelMail knows nothing about the VPS1 virtual environment, it's trying to create directories in /usr/home/lang rather than ~/usr/home/lang.
