Thanks for the CC giggle and thanks for posting the report of your
adventures. We probably don't ever thank Scott and the few others that
post extensive VPS config info enough for their trouble.
For the rest of the list, the actual story is that I did setup Squirrel
Mail in about five minutes by not reading the docs other than a quick
scan of requirements:
I ssh'ed to the VPS1, did a wget of the download url, unzip'ed it, mv'ed
it to htdocs, cd'ed to that directory, ran the config/conf.pl and logged
in with no trouble. I didn't bother a lot with the config and there are
details I probably should have dwelled more on such as the folder setup.
I recommend the new SM beta, which I installed on a server with
customers that wouldn't need it right away to test. Works great.
At any rate, this is a nice quiet list and I heartily welcome any and
all posts of VPS experiences and how-to's, not just spamassassin and
procmail questions.
