Re: [vps-mail] SA, How to turn off Bayes?

Hi Ron,

The answer to your other question about procmail can be found in the log. Send a test mail and see if it goes through procmail.

I'm running VPS1, with procmail and spamassassin

I think I want to turn Bayes filtering off. I never knowingly turned it on.
How can I turn it off, or otherwise rectify it?

Those answer are found in the spamassassin documentation, here for example:

http://spamassassin.rediris.es/doc/Mail_SpamAssassin_Conf.html

where you will find, among other gems of wisdom

-------------
use_bayes ( 0 | 1 ) (default: 1)

Whether to use the naive-Bayesian-style classifier built into SpamAssassin.
