[vps-mail] Multiple domain on VPS - rDNS for mail doesn't match mail server

Yesterday, DNS for my domains, as well as that for my (reseller) hosting
service, was down for a considerable time. Investigating why I could not
reach anything nor send or receive email, I found that all these DNS
servers (for my domains as well as my host's) are in the same netblock, and
thus probably in the same location (pings to all of them timed out).
I found this confirmed using this URL
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=hshelp.com and the
variant of it for my host's domain.
Now (since last night) it's up again, so I rechecked the DNSreport data -
and found several warnings in addition to the (expected) warning about the
DNS servers. The one that worries me most is this:
~~~~~
WARN Mail server host name in greeting WARNING: One or more of your
mailservers may be claiming to be a host other than what it really is
(the SMTP greeting should be a 3-digit code, followed by a space or a
dash, then the host name). This probably won't cause any harm, but may
be a technical violation of RFC821 4.3.
hshelp.com claims to be host javawoman.com.
~~~~~
The server actually services three domains; main domain javawoman.com, with
two more, all serviced by the
same email server (sendmail) at the same IP address (additional domains set
up as virtual domains in sendmail config).
Is there some way I can adapt the sendmail configuration so that for each
of the domains it reports the correct mail server host name? Or something
else I can do to correct this?
Other helpful folks sugested adapting the DNS data, but I don't think I can
do this myself.
Any suggestions welcome - for obvious reasons I don't like to be violating
any RFCs.
