Hello Marjolein,
You would probably have better luck getting feedback on the CPAN modules by
visiting the above address and registering for the mailing list that
discusses your particular server type. This mail list is for email technical
questions/feedback.
That looks like a very useful resource. However, I'm not quite sure which
server type to pick: I'm hosted on a VPS B server (my host is a Verio
reseller). Either iserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or vps2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx might
apply - which would be best or "closest"?
That said, I believe you need to be using a relative path instead of a full
path to install the module. ~/usr/local/lib/perl5.... instead of
/usr/local/lib/perl5.
It seems vcpan takes care of that, no problem there. (Even cpan had no
problem with that, only the permission needed was a problem.)
I'm going ahead (tomorrow) and try to install WP.cgi first; if I get stuck
getting it running, I'll try one of those lists but it would help if I knew
which the most appropriate one is for VPS B.
Thanks for the reference!
