Re: [vps-mail] IMAP PHP module broken?

A fix for php 4.3.3 went out recently that is supposed to address this
issue. You may wish to try again.

As you note, the IMAP module was updated to end PHP
module load errors that stopped Apache from starting.
There was also some confusion (mine) about the linking
of loadable modules to the "current/" directory. The
cure for that is just to reinstall.

Apparently though, the PHP IMAP functions have a
problem that requires adding /notls option to the code:

in TWIG, for example,

$config["imap_port"] = "143/notls";

For reasons I can grok without knowning or caring about
details, this addresses the problem.

The change in PHP broke TWIG, but the above workaround,
which the TWIG people clearly indicate in their test
program, works.
