[cpx] Slow CPX startup...

I have been battling this problem with CPX startup in 60+ seconds (and 
after that it may or may not actually log me in).

A simple question: What process(es) should be doing most of the startup 
work? Is there any process(es) I can watch to see if they run? How long 
they run for? For example, the vsapd daemon? Or whatever?
