Ok, I actually took the time to look in /etc/crontab and thre is no entry
for savelogs. On another server that I have installed savelog on there is
no entry in /etc/crontab for savelogs. On servers where I have savelogs
running there is an entry in /var/cron/tabs/root that looks like this:
3 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/savelogs --config=/usr/local/etc/savelogs.conf
So how is CPX supposedly setting up savelogs? I checked again today and
logs are still not being rotated on the server that I installed CPX on.
Thanks,
in my case i found the entry into the /etc/crontab file so i don't know for
your case. try to change some log rotation settings and come back to see if
something changed in the crontab ?
