[cpx] Savelogs

Scott,
From the tiny amount of poking around that I've done, it looks like CPX
invokes savelogs manually "when it feels like it" rather than depending
on /usr/local/etc/periodic or cron to run savelogs from a static config
file. Am I right?
If I am correct, and if I want to install CPX on a box that already has
savelogs running (which I do), I need to know what CPX tells savelogs to
do so that I can remove those instructions from my own savelogs config file.
Can you summarize for me? Or is there the equivalent of a savelogs
config file buried within CPX somewhere?
Thanks,
-- Art Z.
