[cpx] CPX look & feel

A customer who uses CPX asks the following question:

I need to make some changes to CPX look & feel.

To have space between Mail Folders and Folder Management
Replace the label Compose with New Email
Instead of End User please put Welcome "User Name"

I am not very familiar with XSL, please help me make these changes.

Is this possible... and would be break automatic updates?
