Can you send me (off-list) the Apache access log +/- 5 minutes around
the time of the loss of data?

I'm going through some logs Alvin Tan provided and with anecdotal
evidence I've heard from other people, there might be another race
condition deep in the bowels of CPX related to /etc/pwd.db.
