Add to crontab (on one line):

0 7 * * Mon cd /usr/local/install; find . -maxdepth 1 -type f -mtime -30 -exec ls -l {} \; | mail -E -s 'Recent vinstall kits' your@email

As is, this e-mails a list of vinstalls modified in the last 30 days at
7:00 am every Monday.
